The integration of nanotechnology and gene medicine has led to the development of gene therapy where safe and effective gene carriers are of crucial importance. In this work, a series of biocleavable pseudo-block copolymers (CD-SS-pDM/Ad-pPEG) consisting of bioreducible CD-cored star-shaped pDMAEMA (CD-SS-pDM, host) and pPEGEEMA (Ad-pPEG, guest) were proposed via facile noncovalent host-guest interaction for efficiently delivering plasmid DNA.
