澳大利亚昆士兰大学许志平教授应邀来访并做学术报告

　　应北京化工大学化工资源有效利用国家重点实验室卫敏教授课题组邀请, 澳大利亚昆士兰大学许志平教授于2017年8月28日到访实验室，并做了题为“Development of inorganic nanoparticles for cancer therapy and diagnosis”的学术报告。

　　在报告中，许志平教授首先介绍了纳米粘土材料——层状双金属氢氧化物（LDHs）。将LDHs作为载体，与抗癌药物以及功能性干扰siRNA分子结合，研究了LDHs作为药物/基因载体在治疗癌细胞方面的巨大潜力。其次，许教授还介绍了一种高脂磷酸钙(LCP) 纳米粒子，将其作为疫苗促进剂增强长期免疫反应。最后，许教授还介绍了无机纳米粒子作为正电子发射断层扫描（PET）和磁共振成像（MRI）造影剂用于癌症成像/检测的研究进展。在整个报告中，许教授深入浅出，诙谐不乏味，在最后的提问环节中，许教授更是走到台下和同学们面对面地讨论和交流。通过此次报告，同学们不仅学习到了有指导作用的专业知识，而且对于开拓科研思路有很好的借鉴和学习意义。

　　许志平教授简介：

　　Dr. Xu obtained his B.S. degrees in 1988 and M.S. degree in 1991 at University of Science & Technology of China, and then completed his M.S. in 1997 and received his Ph.D. in 2001 at National University of Singapore. He continued to be a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at University of North Texas from 2001-2003. Since 2004, He has received a number of fellowships and awards, including an ARC Australian Postdoctoral Fellowship (2003-2007), ARC Australian Research Fellowship (2008-2012). Prof. Xu is now an Australian Research Council (ARC) Future Fellow (2013-2016) and UQ VC Senior Research Fellow (2017-now). His research interest is focused on control prepration of clay nanomaterials, delivery of drugs and gene, bioimaging and diagnosis of tumour, development of nanotechnology for crop protection and weed growth control. Prof. Xu and his colleagues have published almost 200 papers and books, including Nature Plants , J. Am. Chem. Soc. , Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. , Nano Lett. , ACS Nano , Adv. Funct. Mater. , Biomaterials , Small , etc. His papers have been cited nearly 8000 times with the H-index of 47.
