The University of Melbourne、University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign等五单位的学者应邀来实验室作学术报告

由北京化工大学化工资源有效利用国家重点实验室徐福建教授课题组主持, 澳大利亚The University of Melbourne的Jiwei Cui、美国University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign的Jianjun Cheng、美国The Johns Hopkins University的Honggang Cui、美国Tufts UniversityQiaobing Xu和苏州大学的殷黎晨于7月8号受邀出席了为期1天的学术交流活动。

在此次学术交流活动中,各位教授分别做了题为“Interfacing Polymer Particle Design and Biological Interactions for Therapeutic Delivery”、 “Transforming Conventional Materials through Rational Design and Controlled Synthesis”、“One-Component Nanomedicine”、 “Nanotechnology for Drug Delivery and Tissue Engineering”和“Photo-Enhanced Protein/Gene Delivery Toward Synergistic Cancer Therapy”的报告。这些精彩的报告让老师和同学们更加深入的了解了高分子化学,多肽,纳米材料和纳米药物、药物输送、癌症靶向技术等方面的知识,尤其是对通过如何纳米材料的设计构建药物靶向递释系统受到很大的启发,同时也了解了合成新结构和新功能高分子对聚合物科学发展的重要意义。在报告过程中及问题讨论过程中各位教授和在座师生进行了丰富的交流互动。


 

 

Jiwei Cui个人介绍:

Jiwei Cui is a senior research fellow in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the University of Melbourne. He is also Vice President of the Chinese Association of Professionals and Scholars, Australia (CAPS Australia). He received his Ph.D. (Colloid and Interface Chemistry) from Shandong University in China in 2010. He was a Super Science Fellow at The University of Melbourne from 2011-2014 and was elected as a 1000 Young Talent Fellow in China in 2016. He has published over 60 peer-reviewed papers. He is a Next-Generation Advisor of Chem (Cell press).

 

Jianjun Cheng个人介绍:

程建军1993年获天津南开大学化学学士学位,1996年获美国南伊利诺伊大学化学硕士学位,2001年获加州大学圣巴巴拉分校(University of California, Santa Barbara)材料科学博士学位, 师从Timothy Deming 教授。他曾作为资深科学家在美国加州理工学院Mark Davis 教授创建的公司 Insert Therapeutics工作至2004年,随后又在麻省理工学院Robert Langer教授课题组从事博士后研究至2005年,同年就职伊利诺伊大学厄巴纳 - 香槟分校(University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign)材料科学与工程系任助理教授,2011年晋升为终身副教授,2015年晋升为该系终身正教授并获得伊利诺伊大学杰出晋升教授奖。程建军教授课题组共发表过文章140余篇,其中包括顶级刊物自然(Nature)、 自然通讯 (Nature Communications)、美国国家科学学院院刊 (Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences of the United States of America)、美国化学会会刊 (Journal of American Chemical Society)、先进材料 (Advanced Materials)、德国应用化学(Angewandte Chemie International Edition)等30余篇文章。程建军教授拥有27项美国或国际专利,领导的两项发明被用于上市公司的研发纳米药物中,已进入人体二期临床试验,多项科研成果及发明被国际媒体报道, 其中关于癌症靶向的纳米药物技术获得福布斯杂志2006年度5大纳米技术突破之一。程建军教授获得的荣誉包括美国前列腺癌症基金会竞争奖、美国国家自然科学基金会青年学者奖、施乐研究成就奖、美国国立卫生研究院院长创新奖、美国工程师荣誉学会杰出工程师奖、威利特教授学者奖、伊利诺伊大学高级研究中心学者奖、伊利诺伊大学创业教授奖,以及五次由学生评判的伊利诺伊大学优秀教学奖。2015年当选美国医学与生物工程学院会士(American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering Fellow (AIMBE Fellow),同年当选为由美国化学会高分子化学会士(ACS-POLY Fellow)。研究领域包括高分子化学,多肽,纳米材料和纳米药物、药物输送、癌症靶向技术。

 

Honggang Cui个人介绍:

Honggang Cui received a Bachelor’s degree in Polymer Materials Science and Engineering from the Beijing University of Chemical Technology in 1999, a Master’s degree in Materialogy/Chemical Engineering from Tsinghua University in 2002, and a PhD degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Delaware in 2007. He was a Postdoctoral Fellow between 2007 and 2010 in the department of Materials Science and Engineering and the Institute for BioNanotechnology in Medicine at Northwestern University. He joined the Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering Department at the Johns Hopkins University as Assistant Professor in 2010. He holds joint appointments in the Department of Oncology and Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center, and the Center for Nanomedicine of Wilmer Eye Institute at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He is currently running a fully equipped lab for nanoparticle fabrication, peptide synthesis and purification, and cell culture, with the aims of developing peptide-based supramolecular nanomaterials for targeted drug delivery, tumor imaging and diagnosis, and tumor microenvironment mimicking. He is a recipient of the W. W. Smith Charitable Trust Basic Medical Research Grant in Cancer (2012), the NSF CAREER Award (2013), and the 3M Non-Tenured Faculty Award (2015).

Qiaobing Xu个人介绍:

Dr. Qiaobing Xu is currently an assistant professor in Department of Biomedical Engineering at Tufts University. He also holds adjunction assistant professor position in Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering and School of Medicine at Tufts University. He was promoted to associated professor with tenure in May 2016. He obtained his B.S. in 1999, and M.Sc. in 2002 (Advisor: Prof. Xi Zhang) both from Department of Chemistry, Jilin University, Changchun, China.   He obtained his PhD in chemistry under the guidance of Prof. George Whitesides from Harvard University where he invented “Nanoskiving”, a novel technology to fabricate functional nanomaterials.  From 2007-2010, he was a Cancer Center for Nanotechnology Excellence postdoctoral fellow with Prof. Robert Langer at MIT, where he worked on developing novel nanomaterials for drug delivery applications.  He joined Tufts in September, 2010.  His current research interests lie at the intersection of material science engineering, specifically micro/nanoscience, and biomedical application. His work involves using combinatorial method to develop novel materials for the delivery of therapeutic biomacromolecules and using nanotechnology to develop novel biomaterials for tissue engineering. He received Charlton Award from Tufts University School of Medicine in 2012 and named the Pew Scholar for Biomedical Sciences from Pew Charitable Trusts in 2013. He received the National Science Foundation CAREER Award in 2015.

 

殷黎晨个人介绍:

殷黎晨2005年获复旦大学生物科学学士学位,2010年获复旦大学生物化学与分子生物学博士学位。2010.11~2014.1在美国伊利诺伊大学香槟分校从事博士后研究,2014.1加盟苏州大学功能纳米与软物质研究院,任特聘教授、博士生导师。近年来围绕生物医用高分子材料与药物给药系统发表SCI论文50余篇,其中以第一作者、通讯作者在Angew Chem Int Ed、Adv Mater、ACS Nano、Chem Sci、Biomaterials等国际权威期刊上发表论文27篇,总他引1600余次,H因子=24,多项研究工作被C&EN News、Materials View China、Fierce Drug Delivery、Illinois News等媒体作为亮点报道。获中国授权发明专利3项,申请PCT 2项、美国专利和欧洲专利各1项。主持国家自然科学基金2项,江苏省自然科学基金1项。获上海市优秀博士学位论文奖。
