新加坡南洋理工大学Kanyi PU副教授应邀来实验室做学术报告

应北京化工大学化工资源有效利用国家重点实验室徐福建教授课题组邀请, 新加坡南洋理工的Kanyi PU副教授于2016年7月4日到访实验室并为我校师生作了题为“Amplified Photoacoustic Imaging and Photothermal Therapy using Organic Semiconducting Nanoparticles”的学术报告。

在此次报告中,Kanyi PU副教授重点介绍了构建炎症荧光探针的相关机理,同时也讲解了通过纳米材料的设计构建荧光探针系统。Kanyi PU副教授的报告让老师和同学们更加深入的了解了纳米材料在荧光探针构建中的重要性,同时也了解了合成新结构和新功能高分子对聚合物科学发展的重要意义。最后,在提问环节中,Kanyi PU副教授和在座师生进行了交流互动。



 

Kanyi PU副教授简介:

Dr. Pu joined the School of Chemical and Biomedical Engineering (SCBE) at NTU as an Associate Professor in June 2015. He did his MS (2007) with Prof. Wei Huang (CAS member) at Fudan University in China. He then came to Singapore and did his PhD (2011). He moved to Stanford University School of Medicine for his postdoctoral study in 2011, under the supervision of Prof. Jianghong Rao and the directorship of Prof. Sanjiv Sam Gambhir at the molecular imaging program at Stanford (MIPS). As an active member of MIPS and the Center for Cancer Nanotechnology Excellence and Translation (CCNE-T), he made significant contributions to organic polymer based imaging probes and technologies, such as photoacoustic imaging, chemiluminescence imaging and in vivo imaging of reactive oxygen and nitrogen species.
Dr. Pu has published more than 60 journal papers, 2 book chapters and 6 patents. With a h-index of 36, his work on molecular imaging and bionanotechnology has been highlighted by many world-renown scientific journals such as Nature Biotechnology, Nature Methods, and Cell Express el al.. He has won a number of awards for his creative work, including a young investigator travel award and several best poster awards.
