Smart Transportation between Three Phases through a Stimulus-Responsive Functional Cooperating Device

We have fabricated a functionally-cooperating device to deliver molecules in a directional manner between hexane and carbon tetrachloride phases, which are separated by a water layer. This study has developed a novel functionally-cooperating system and promoted its applications in smart delivery. We believethis work will not only enrich the concept of smart devices in nanotechnology, but also provide a new avenue for the fabrication of the miniature robot.
